Scams, bet you got to the second interview, and if you did you got the position as well

Shops, Products, Services

Okay so i had this interview on tuesday at 11:00 am, i went into the interview and the first thing that I noticed when I went into the building was that on the direction board the company was not even listed, huh weird. I then went upstairs (the company if it can be called that is off of havana and hampden/yosemite) and found the suite (204 or 202) that i was told to go to after i contacted the number that was listed in the denver post. Another thing that i notice i that the name on the door is a typed piece of paper saying "national marketing" very professional???..

So i walk in and there is a little more in the office than the desk and folding chairs, they had a few pictures on the walls... Wow... So i go in and I get the second interview within 5 minutes. Now i have been out of work for about a month so I was really excited. I then come back for the second interview on friday may 29th at 12:15pm. So i go in and there are about 10-20 other people. My first interview was with terry burton, and the class that lasted about 3 hours was with neil johnston.

So i sat there for the full class and took my notes. One thing that i noticed though was that they never said how long they were in business for, which most companies brag about. Never was there any reference to the company's name. I was still excited because i had been searching for a job for over a month. So they pull us into a mini interview with terry burton. (all the managers tried to get friendly with everyone asking where we are from things we do for fun, such small talk things trying to get us comfortable.)

So i go in the mini interview with terry and another one of the potential employees, very odd they usually tell you seperatly if you have the job (unless they are just excepting everyone... Scam) so both of us got accepted for the position, and they said that they would see us on monday. Okay so as the other reports stated on this rip off position there was never any paperwork other than the "get to know you form" no w2 or w4, no id, or ss# nothing that a normal employer would ask for.

One of my most important questions that I kept asking them was how do we get paid. They said that it was $7 per transaction, okay but they said the time that we would be on the field would only be for about 2 weeks to learn what our sales people would be doing after we became managers. But what about the time before and after that time on the field, if im not selling anything how am i making money while im in training. But they kept avoiding that question and kept mentioning that it was $7 per transaction.

Another thing that i kept noticing was that they kept saying that they did not yet have the offices up and running... Not very professional or security orientated. As for where your so called managers would be working.

It seemed like just a commission job and im not doing that.
So i leave the office and tell my husband and he tells me it sounds like a scam so i come home and look it up and what do i find, exactly what happened to me today happening to others.

So if you get this position it sounds to good to be true and thats exactly right, and it is a big scam they are going to waste your time and you are never going to make as much money as they say. They say they are at the top of the company because they are the main scammers.

So none-the-less i will not be showing up for that position on monday morning. It sucks that i wasted so much time, but luckily for me i had another interview and was hired for that position. A REAL JOB

It sucks for these people to be doing this to other people especially given the hard times that we are in.

People are out there looking for a job and this is what they get. I am so disappointed in this but i am lucky i looked it up and found these other reports (with exactly the same thing that i just went through), and very grateful for my very suspisious husband.
