When i got at&t a few months ago i signed up for unlimited local and long distance and i was told that my total bill would be 45 dollars a month after i specifically asked what it would be. At the end of signing up the representative told me that the first 2 months would be higher because of how they bill, but after the first 2 months it will be the 45. The first two month bills were around 90 dollars. The next month our phone quit working so we called to get it repaired and i was told that we would receive a credit on our account for the time our phone was out of service. When we received our bill that month that credit had not been placed on the account and our bill was 75 dollars. So I called them to get the credit put on our account and they did. I then asked them why our bill was so high when i was told it would go down to 45 dollars a month. The representative i talked to told me that it was the way the first months are billed and next month our bill would be 45. Then i specifically asked him when i got my bill next month the total would be 45 dollars and he said YES! We received our bill this month and it is 67 dollars. I called to ask the reason and they told me that our bill is going to be 67 dollars a month because of taxes that are added on. I told her that that is not what i was told. Time and time again i was lied to about the amount of my bill and they told me that their will be no credit placed on the account. I should not be lied to by a business i'm receiving service from. I would like 23 dollars credited to my account which will bring it down to the 45 dollars, i was told i would have time and time again.
