I received a letter with a check that indicated I was selected for employment with The Metroplex Research Center. I was to cash the check, wait until it cleared and then wire money to Chaz Barnard in London, England, UK. I did as instructed, the check cleared my bank and I wired the money. Then, I found out that this was a scam and I will likely be responsible for 3,460.00 when the check bounces in a couple of weeks.
