Unauthorized $50 and $62 Withdrawals, $22 Overdraft Fee Each

In September, I was trying to make a payment by PayPal. When I logged in to my PayPal account, the screen asked for my complete bank account number and information. I did not want to give my complete bank information, so I just logged out. I tried again over and over, but PayPal froze my account and I cannot log in.

As I was checking my bank account, I noticed an unauthorized payment from PayPal, one for $50 and another for $62. Both cost me an overdraft of $22 each. When I came across a complaint website, I read a complaint very similar to what happened to me. Well, it turns out that when PayPal makes unauthorized withdrawals, they freeze the customer's account so the customer will not have access to complain about an unauthorized withdrawal.

I cannot find a way to get the PayPal phone number to complain because my account was frozen. Through my friend's account, I was able to get a phone number and address where I can file a complaint. From October to this date, I have never received a response from PayPal. I went ahead and told my bank not to authorize any payment from PayPal, and I have not used my PayPal account since then.

To everyone who reads this, if you are using PayPal for making payments, please be careful and constantly check your bank account for unauthorized withdrawals from PayPal. Be careful!!!
