Ripoff mistreated and ripped off Internet

PayPal stinks! An unauthorized transaction posted to my credit card - it went through PayPal. An unauthorized transaction posted to my bank account - it went through PayPal. So far there have been charges totalling $2,100.
My credit card company and my bank have, thankfully, been very understanding and helpful, and I am not liable for the charges. However, when I contacted PayPal, all I got was a run-around. I told the rep that I wanted my account CLOSED, and was told that I couldn't close an account as long as there were pending transactions! It didn't seem to matter that the transactions in question were NOT authorized by me. I was told I needed to fill out an unauthorized activity form and they would take it from there.

I filled out the form, and printed out a history from the account. I am so mad right now, though, that I could spit nails! I tried to login to my PayPal account today with the intent of closing the account (hopefully) and now I'm locked out of my own account! And all my personal information is still in there because they wouldn't let me close the account yesterday! I can't seem to get a customer rep to give me ANY beneficial assistance.
I would say to ANYONE even THINKING about using PayPal to pay for an auction, or whatever, DO NOT USE IT!!! You might be happy with the service for awhile, as I was, but when something goes wrong, and it will, you will deeply regret it! I read somewhere that there is a class action suit against PayPal. I hope I get some info about it, because I'd love to be a part of it. Thanks usacomplaints.com!
