UPS & UPS Insurance is a rip off! They'll take the money but won't deliver the service they charge for!

UPS Insurance is a rip off of your money! I sent my items properly packed and doubled boxed. When they arrived the receiver called me and said the boxes were crushed and some of the items were broken. They called UPS to report the clame as directed by the UPS. According to UPS, the items were picked up by UPS and sent to Crawford Adjusters for processing and or repair. What happened next is unbelievable. The items were returned to UPS store where they had originated. They sat for 3 months with no notice to anyone what had happened. This is when the finger pointing started. UPS said it was the shipping store problem the shipping store, said they have nothing to do with it and take the packages back or they would throw them away after 180 days. No offer to repair or replace items that were insured. I had to take it up with UPS and not UPS store. They were only a service not UPS.

Bottom line: They took my money, ($ 150 for shipping and Insurance for said services) removed some of the packing materials, (then said not properly packed) then gave me back the damaged items and told me to piss off. So save your self some money and hart burn. Don't bother with insurance (ever) if the item is worth more than a $ 100 bucks.
