Janet Greene, Real Property Appraisal And Estate Sales
She took my money and did not deliver the appraisal report

On 8/1/08 I paid Janet Greene $360 for an appraisal of home contents for estate tax purposes. Janet met with me and examined the personal property on 3 occasions. She was to provide a report on the property and its value.

I gave her a check (stupid me) and she never delivered the report. She did not respond to my phone calls, the calls of my attorney or letter from my attorney. She did not deliver a list of contents or the appraisal of same.

She had been reliable and shown up each time to go over contents of the home. It did not occur to me that she would rip me off, which is why it works. When she asked for check, I didn't think anything of it and she guaranteed the report would be available prior to Sept. Meeting with attorney.

Multiple phone calls were made with no response or reply. At first I was worried something had happened to her, but eventually found out she was OK, just ignoring my requests. I had to pay someone else to start all over. It took more time and cost more money.

She is a very pleasant person with a nice demeanor (again, the reason she can rip you off). Don't trust her any further than you can thow her.
