Rocklin Cleaners
Outrageous Charges

Shops, Products, Services

Several weeks ago I took some 8 shirts in for laundering and ironing and one shirt to be dry cleaned. I admit it has been awhile since I have taken shirts to the cleaners. Supposedly to launder and iron a shirt is $1.75. My total bill was $25.00 so I gave them the benefit of the doubt as maybe more than one shirt needed special care.

A week later I took four shirts in and made it very clear that I only wanted them laundered and ironed. Lo and behold when I picked them up the bill was $22.50. There was one shirt that had an ink stain and I told them not to try and get it out but they said they did and I was charged a lot extra for the effort.

I expressed my displeasure with the proprietor and he became very angry and said he was only following what was on the labels. I told him that was not acceptable and he became even more belligerent. Over the years I have had a lot of laundering and dry cleaning done and never had a problem. I will definitely spread the word to my co-workers that live in the area to stay away from this establishment. This guy needs to go.
