Charging for services not provided, deceptive sales, poor customer service

Purchased Verizon "Call Intercept" several years ago. Found we are still receiving "out of area" calls.
After a very irritating call to Verizon (Mr. Edmonds) I find that even though you purchase the service, it still needs to be "activated" and whether you activate it or not you'll still get charged $5.50 a month for the service they are NOT providing!
Having requested the service personally, there was never any mention of having to "Activate" it and never received any paperwork indicating that the service was useless until it was "activated". Although Verizon will still bill you for services NOT rendered anyway.
Their website PDF on Call Intercept does NOT requite you to set up or activate anything so Verizon and Mr Edmonds would simply be full of crap!

Go with another provider, their service is better and the attitude towards their customer is far superior!
Soon moving to another provider.
Tired of yet another thieving, stinking, deceptive, American business!
I'll amend this post with a more favorable view of Verizon when I am refunded for all those years of deceptive charges!
