Kenmore over-the-range microwave control panel caught fire

In Aug of 05 I purchased a Kenmore over the range microwave, which was made in June of 05. In Oct 08 the control panel caught on fire. I had to have the fire dept assist me in putting out the fire. Thank god I did not leave the kitchen my house could have went up in flames.

I spoke with several people in their recovery, nothng they can do because I did not buy one of their warranties. I tried reporting it to them as well as the consumer interaction center, as a safety issue but because it is not on recall they would not take a report. Between the years of 04 and 05 I purchased over $3000 with Sears for appliances. A microwave should last more than 3 years. I want a replace - ment at their expense.
