While visiting the Joliet, IL, Home Depot near Route 30 and I-55 today, I wanted to look at different fireplaces. While walking around and looking at other things on my way there, I passed two Home Depot employees talking about a customer, whom they called a jerk, that one of them had helped earlier that day.
Afterward I tried to buy some light bulbs. The cashier scanned the item and took my money, but then she turned to a coworker next to her who was having trouble with her own register. It would have taken all of three seconds to give me my change and then go help the other employee.
