I've had to call Direct TV 7 times in 13 Months because the service wasn't working

Once again my Direct TV service isn't working.in the last 13 months I have not had working service for even 6 months before it went out, in fact I have had to have a technician repair my system no less than 6 times in just over a year. My system was serviced on the following dates:
1. July 17
2. Nov 30
3. Dec 20
4. May 7
5. Jul 7
6. Jul 19
I upgraded to HD in hopes that the equipment would work for more than a couple of months before a technician had to be called but that is not the case in fact it wasn't even a month this time. Today is Aug 17 and I have to wait 8 days to get the problem fixed. I currently have a technician scheduled for 25 Aug which will be the 7th technician visit.
Each time I have to schedule a technician I spend no less than 30 minutes on the phone plus I have to leave work early to be home when the technician arrives. So in addition to the time I am unable to use service I also am inconvenienced by having be on the phone 30 or more minutes with Direct TV, I am then expected to troubleshoot the Direct TV equipment and am forced to leave work early so I am home when the technician arrives.
I have asked to have my service canceled because it is so unreliable but Direct TV will not cancel it unless I pay an early termination fee.
