They charge more in Canada for the same item

I went to buy a new wet/dry vac from the Home Depot. I was looking at the Ridgid WD1450 53L Wet/Dry Vac. The price at my local Home Depot is $149.00. I checked the price on the American HomeDepot.com website for the exact same model number and found that the price was $99.00.

This is a 50% difference. The Canadian dollar has been on par now for quite a long time and this kind of discrepancy should not still be in place. I am in Winnipeg so it is not like this is some remote far off location.
