My experience with Bergstroms funiture store has been a consistant disapointment. I ordered a Stanley crib & changing table over 14 weeks ago. The reciept states that it was to be delivered in 6-10 weeks. At the 10 week point I began to call and ask for delivery status. I would be told to leave my number & someone would call me back, sometimes I would get a call, but most times nothing. When I would speak with someone who was in customer service, they would give me an excuse (Stanley not returning phone calls) or point the finger (freight carrier on strike.) The issue that makes me angry is the lack of proactive customer service. Bergstroms knew I was frustrated with the delay, the least they could have done is keep me in the loop with truthful information. If I could have recieved one unsoliced call, explaining the status of my order, I would not be this upset. I am a salesperson that holds myself to a much higher standard. If I treated my customers with the same lack of respect, I would not have a job. All I can say is I hope this message reaches potential customers for Bergstroms & helps them walk away.
