Equipment Exchange Fraudalent

My cell phone has equipment insurance as well still under warranty at the time of equipment exchange. I have the Motorola RIZR Z3, the stickers on the keypads were out so its hard for me to navigate without them. They sent me a replacement and I sent back the old phone as instructed. A month later, I get a bill for $108 for one-time charge for equipment.

So I call the rep, she advised me that the charge is for the old equipment that I sent back to the warehouse and they reported my old cell has water damages and this kind of defectives does not cover by warranty or insurance. I was shocked because I never dropped it in water. She stated there might be several reasons to why there is water damages, maybe I use it while I was in the shower or left in the bathroom while the shower is on or sweat on it while using it. I told her that ridiculous! I swear to god that it was never wet or use it in a wet place. I told her this is fraud from their Warehouse and Billing department. So then she stated since I have equipment insurance, I would have to only pay the deductible of $75 and credit me $30. OMG! I have been paying $5.99 per month for a year for equipment insurance and this is all they can do for me!

I have been with T-Mobile for 3 years and have been paying for my bills on time and this is the kind of service I get? I don't think they know how to treat loyal customers. All they think of about is $! Unfortunately, my contract is not up til May. When its up, I'll be going to different carrier! Consumer BEWARE!!
