Servpro high cost because they can

We had water heater leak and our insurance company told us to call Servpro. When they arrived I told them that I had a high deductible and most of the cost was out of pocket, but they never gave me an estimate. The first time I saw the cost was when I got a bill for $2500—my full deductible. At that time, Servpro again failed to give me any details. When I finally got the bill details, I discovered that they charged 150% of the market rate for equipment rental, and opted to run the most expensive equipment for the longest time. I know my insurance company did the bare minimum, since they only paid $500, never came on site to asses the damage, mand paid the bill with out review. Servpro, has created a business model wheremthempurposely withhold information, and do everything they can do to pad their bill. This company takes advantage of people in need and scams the insurance companies. Do notuse them.
