Free HBO Promise, Check Delayed 5 Months, Then 2-Year Contract

When we first got service from these jokers, they told us that if we purchased a DVR for $99, they would send us a check with our first bill, and that we would get 3 months of free HBO and Max with a one-year contract. We purchased the DVR. When they hooked up our service, we got no HBO or Max, so we called and complained. They finally put it on but started billing us for it, so we finally got upset and canceled HBO and Max, even though we never got it for free and had to pay for it.

Our check in the mail never came, so we kept calling about that. They kept saying they didn't do that, and I asked them why we were told that. Finally, 5 months later, after arguing and fighting over the phone, they sent a check. We had service installed on Feb 28 and called and canceled on Feb 28, and they now say we have a 2-year contract. Then they went into our checking account and took out money without anyone okaying it.
