Failure to execute. Non-responsive. Unacceptable performance

Anticipating the move from Chicago to Dallas, we took it upon ourselves to pack, making the pickup very easy and smooth. When it came to delivery, that's when the nightmare began. The driver was late. When the moving crew got out of the truck, I was shocked to see the driver and two kids. I learned the driver was the father of the boys, ages 16 and 13. He explained that he could not get anyone else because it was so close to Thanksgiving and the boys had experience working with him. After watching them struggle, I called and spoke to Dan Boerman. He asked me to wait for his call while he found men to unload the truck. 45 minutes later he called back echoing what the driver had said. I witnessed the older boy injuring himself twice and could not be in all the rooms they were placing boxes which were not stacked neatly, but just thrown in making an inventory impossible. Furious, I simply wanted the nightmare to end. I took it upon myself to help unload the truck myself. Bottom line: I paid 5000 dollars and wound up doing a large part of the work myself. When I repeatedly called Dan Boerman and asked what he was going to do to make it right, he asked me to wait until he returned from a business trip at which point we could discuss matters. I have not heard from him since despite subsequent calls and messages. Disappointment and a complete lack of commitment to the customer are at the core of this company.
