Quoted one amount when at destination demanded 2x what quoted or would not unload the items moved ripoff

On Friday Feb 23 we requested the services of A Golden Hand Moving & Storage. The manager Roni gave us a verbal quote where he would only charge $150 for the drive and $200 for two hours of work. The job was to load 7 desks to the truck and unload them at our location.

We both agreed that this would not take more than 45 min to an hour to load and the same to unload.
When the truck arrived at the destination the driver before anything was done demanded payment. We paid him the amount agreed of $350 he did not find this to be suitable the amount was now twice as much $674. If he was not paid the amount he now wanted he would not unload the truck. He wanted to charge for 6 hours instead of the 2 we had agreed it would take. He no longer recognized that he had offered to only charge $150 for the drive. He immediately started getting very aggressive and raising his voice.

He started to leave with the desks and the money i had already paid him. I called the police and they had to come and convince him to allow us to unload the truck or they could charge him with theft if he took the stuff. He finally allowed us to unload the truck but did not offer help or allowed us to use the ramp to the truck. Some neighbors helped us unload the truck in less than 15 min with out the ramp, which the delivery driver claimed it took 2 hours to load.

Driver was very unhappy but left the delivery location.
