Shortly after the one year contract that we signed was up, we decided to continue with Directv. So we had already satisfied the original contract agreement. Later on we had decided that we don't really watch to much TV these days and we were about to move anyways. So we called them up and ordered the service cancelled.

Ok, for those that don't get their customer agreement forms from Directv. If you have EVER given Directv you bank account # or credit card info, they can ACTUALLY continue to charge and take money out of your account.

That's right, A legal business can take money out of account even AFTER YOU HAVE CANCELLED your account.

That's right, they charged my account with $257.01. Phantom Charges that some how made there way on to my account AFTER I had cancelled it MONTHS AGO. No Pay-Per-Views, nothing. They didn't cancel my account until 3 months AFTER I have ordered it to be cancelled. That means I'm stuck with them taking 3 months worth of a service that I never got from them.

When I called them to find out why, all they could do was say, " Here's the address to write them to dispute the matter with."

When I asked them to remove my bank info so that there were no more "mischarges", they refused to. So NOW on Monday, I have to go to my bank and notify them of these charges and tell them that I might need to close and reopen another account. Just so that I can aviod any more charges.

I am letting everyone know and be fully aware of what it is that they WILL do.
