C0364 Aaron's Cheated me out of the $10.00 Referral Credit

I have been a dedicated customer of Aaron's for many years now. I have 4 items that i pay for monthly. After all these years, I referred a customer and tried to collect the $10.00 that i was told I would get. My payment is @$73.00 for the item I was trying to use the $10.00 credit on (11/01/07) and I paid the remaining $63.00 on my debit card. Christy the manager put in the $10.00 credit for me.

When I went in on the 15th of november to pay on my other items, my receipt said the payment on the credited item was still due. But I paid it. Christy told me she would fix it. On the 26th I went in to pay the last payment on one of my items and I later noticed the receipt said the credited item was still due on 11/15 but they said nothing to me about it while I was there. There was a message on my cell phone saying " You need to come in and talk about your agreement".

When I got to work there was a message for me to call aarons. I called right away and was told by Christy that they would fix it. Then @ 8:30 pm 11/26 I got a call from Aaron's wanting to know when I would be in with payment. The girl put Christy on phone and she stated that because I was on bankruptcy the $10.00 referral credit could not be placed on my account.

Is there an asterick on the bottom of the referral paper that says someone on bankruptcy can not collect the $10. Anyways, how does aarons know that I am on bankruptcy? No Credit Check is what the signs say. I didn't include anything about aarons in my bankruptcy. I've always paid on time. Everything in my house, I've purchased at aarons. Bankruptcy is never a problem when they want to make a sale.

When I come in for a payment, they always ask if I need anything and that they can deliver the same day. No problem. I need someone to explain this to me. The people running the Douglas, Ga Store have no clue. To me it's discrimination. Please refer this to someone above the general management because Christy and Chris at the Douglas Store are the one's that told me my bankruptcy was the problem and the the computers are set up that way. Also, that there was nothing that they could do about it. They didn't create the system. When I asked for the home office phone number, I got a stuttering "Why?" and never got the number. She claimed that she would give me the $10 out of her own pocket (about 20 times) but it's not her responsibilty. She said she would do that to keep me as a customer. She said she values me greatly and that I'm a great customer. I don't understand why this is an issue. You refer a new customer and you get a $10.00 credit to your account. That doesn't sound difficult to me. I tried to send a message via the Aaron's website. The contact us page will let you fill in all your info but there is no button to press to send the info to them?
