Aaron Rents
They call and call and call YOU even AFTER YOU have called THEM

I originally entered into my rental contract (computer) with Prime Time, Inc. Only recently, did Aaron Rents, Inc. Purchase Prime Time and took over all of their rental contracts.

Prime Time was smaller and more... Friendly. Okay, I missed a payment, they would call to remind me and THAT was THAT. End of story. However, with Aarons...

When we made our first payment with Aarons... They said we were their "best customer." (I think it was only because we were seeing the contract thru to the end). Then... The honeymoon ended...

I get three or four calls in the same day to my home number, reminding me to come in to make my payment. It's either the national headquarters calling using their automated dialing system OR the local store calling (even two different people calling me the same day).

I made arrangements on a Saturday to make a payment the following Tuesday (with two payments left on the contract). The individual I spoke to said that she would "note my record." Darned if I didn't get four phone calls on Monday saying that I was over-due!

Aaron's has administrative and customer service issues that need to be dealt with. Whatever training is conducted is either not retained by the individual employee or it is just non-existent.

AFTER they get your payment, they are very apologetic. I just don't like the harassment. They even came out to my house one day to try and repo the PC (with 4 payments left)! They left a sign on the door. Hmmm... I guess we were at work making money to pay them off.

Aaron Rents leaves a sour taste in my mouth and I will not do business with them again.
