T-Mobile
Lied, mislead, and refused goods for charges rendered

I have been with T-Mobile for many years and have always found that whenever I talked to a CSR I needed to take what they promised with a grain of salt. Just thought it was part of doing business with a cell phone company but after the rapeing I took last month I can't wait for my contract to expire so I can tell to take their service and shove it.

I have a family plan with two phones. The phones were old and one crashed so I called my friendly CSR to ask my options. "Just renew for two years and we will send you two new Nokia phones for free" she says... Got the phones and a few weeks later one of them started to have some problems that made it unuseable.By the way, the phones they sent, Nokia 6030's, were and are a piece of crap... Anyway, I called my friendly CSR about the bad phone and after much troubleshooting over the phone, which included removing the back and battery to check for water damage, I was told that I would be recieving a new phone at no charge and to just return the bad one in the packageing my replacement came in. Got my bill last week and I had a $105.00 charge for the phone they sent me. I call my friendly CSR and was informed that the phone I returned had water damage on the inside and was not covered bye the warrenty. I asked how it could have water damage inside but not outside. The answers I got ranged from "maybe it was in my pocket and I sweated", to "it could have been condensation". I told her that since I was expected to pay $105 for the phone, I wanted it back. "No way", she says!

It seems to me that these people have quite a racket going. They tell you your phone will be replaced for free, you send them the bad one, they get rid of the phone and tell you it wasn't under warrenty and to send them 105 bucks..
