Flight change refused as violation of FTC rules

Had booked a flight to San Diego from Detroit on the 5 Jan '07 to the 10th Jan '07. Well you know how plans go wirey. So after outprocessing at my unit and going to court the following Monday. I found out a tenant in my property was "indisposed/jail", and my parents are going through a foreclosure. Rescheduling of the court case etc. Called price line and they gave the spiel of no changes, violation of FDC or FTC code. Checked with the airline United and they were fine with the changes just pay $100. Called priceline back as in the terms and conditions there can be exceptions. Well its at their discretion. Guess what? If they can't keep the stipulation they cannot sell you further flight tickets. As the changes can be made and the airlines have no problem with it just priceline. Don't try to speak to a supervisor they are only available for "administrative" purposes
