Former AT&T Wireless deceptive practices, lies negligence refuses to fix employee's MASSIVE erro

My family has been a customer of AT&T since the early nineties. We have an old AT&T family plan that is cheaper than any plan you can get now, which is why we have not switched to Cingular or any other carrier.

On June 3, my sister decided to get her own plan with Cingular so that she could get a new phone. She asked them to migrate her phone number from AT&T to Cingular so she could keep the same number. This is where the MASSIVE ERROR occurs.instead of switching my sister's number to Cingular, the employee switched MY number to Cingular by mistake! Now my AT&T SIM card and phone does not work at all!

We have been back to the store twice and to get them to fix their error but they keep telling us that they cannot switch my number back to AT&T. They have given me a temporary phone to use with my same number but I have no idea what plan it is on, who it's being billed to (my sister or my mom), how much I'm being charged, and how long they will allow me to use the phone.

So much went unanswered and unexplained by the employees. We didn't even receive an apology! My family is now scrambling to find some other alternative to Cingular since we have been utterly and shamefully mistreated by Cingular.

We plan on filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the FCC. If anyone is filing a class action lawsuit, add my name to the list.
