AT&T, Cingular Wireless
Cannot upgrade phone without migrating from AT&T plan

Electronics and household app.

I have just tried to upgrade my phone. But apparently I can't unless I change my plan from AT&T to Cingular. Cos ALLLL the phones are locked into Cingular.

I have an amazing. 06 cents a min long distance plan with AT&T wireless, but with Cingular it would be. 20 cents or more. I can't change my phone, and they can't help at all.
It is so ridiculous. They are forcing practically forcing you to migrate or be stuck with a crap phone. Ebay is the best bet for replacing it, but you never know if it will work in your area for sure.

I don't see why AT&T didn't have a liquidation of their phones for their original customers/plans.

I will not! Migrate to Cingular.
