Ripoff mailed me info to change my plan then not allowing me to change for the price on the maile

Received a letter from Cingular addressed to me talking about a plan of 1000 minutes for 39.99 and a camera phone for 49.99. I called cingular to see about switching to that plan and was told I could not switch and if I want the camera phone it would be 99.99 with a two year contract of 149.99 with a one year contract.

I told Cingular that if I was not able to switch to that plan then why did they send me a letter telling me all about it. Of course they had no answer. Do not think it is right for them to solicit me with a great offer and then when I contact them tell me I can't get that offer. I have been with Cingular for about 5 years and this is the first problem I have had.
