Will not service televisions ripoff

In September my father and I paid a visit to our local Sears store in search of new HD TV's. We decided on a television (which were the same make and model). We delivered the TVS ourselves due to Sears wanting an additional 50.00 per TV for delivery. (Keep in mind, over 5000.00 was spent in one day to this company from my family). Anyhow after about 6 months my TV at my home began turning colors and I tried to contact Sears for a service appt. I was informed that they only service my area on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (Had I known this I wouldnt have purchased the TV.).

I played phone tag for 32 days before getting a scheduled appt. Service man never showed up. I went down to the local store and demanded a full refund or replacement TV. They replaced the TV.

Everything seemed to be working fine for the last 10 months or so when my dads TV began doing exactly what the first TV I had did. He began calling Sears and finally recieved an appt. After 9 hours of phone calls. (Proof available on cell phone bills)

Just recently my TV has begun doing the SAME THING! I spent 7 hours on the phone over the course of a week trying to get a service call set-up. Ive been told I do NOT even live in the State of North Carolina!:) A tech came out and tried to blame everything on my cable box, and after we eliminated that, he even went as far as saying I had faulty electrical outlets in my home!

He had to order a part and I was told it would be 2 weeks and someone would contact me. Well you guessed it no phone calls, no updates, no nothing! 4 more hours on the phone and a total of 37 days without a functional TV. (again for the second time in 2 years). Anyone buying any electronic equipment from Sears better make sure they have time to take off work at least 2-3 days a year for service and also be prepared to spend countless hours on the phone with "so called customer service".

Oh yeah, lets not forget that Ive gone over 2 full months without a totally functional TV, as has my father now. Sears in Burlington, NC SUCKS! No service whatsoever!!
