RIPOFF False advertising and very misleading sales tactics

I too have been suckered in, but I am in the process of trying to figure a way out. I just signed the contract yesterday and I'm hoping the credit card company will help me get my money back.
I got the exact same talk you have described and we totally fell for it. They have updated the contract to say the first shoot is not a paid one, but they lead us to believe they were putting clients on Magazine covers and the clients were getting paid. That is not the case because I checked with the 2 magazines they showed us and they claimed they do not pay the talent used for the shoots. Sounds like false advertising to me and I hope I can use this to get out of the contract. Although I haven't had them shaft me on the photo shoot yet it is scheduled for October 17th, but I hope to resolve this all before then. I am going to go to the AG's office and file a complaint so I hope there are enough complaints to warrant an investigation. This company is such a scam and I've only dealt with them for one day. Wish I had found this web-site yesterday afternoon. Story of my life.
Let me know if there is anything I can do to help put this group out of business. It's not right to be taking advantage of little kids and their future.
