Cancelled kitchen cabinet remodel order still ruined my credit

I ordered a kitchen cabinet remodel but cancelled the entire order, preferring to wait. The parent company refuses to acknowledge the cancellation, despite my obtaining and mailing paperwork proving nothing was obtained (twice) after hours at the customer service desk. Even the designer herself helped try to convince the parent company that the whole order was cancelled. My credit has been ruined over the last two years by Home Depot considering me responsible for money I don't owe. Is anyone else damaged? How about a class action lawsuit?
