Order Cabinets Elsewhere

I special ordered a Kraftmaid cabinet desk suite from the Home Depot in Bridgeport, CT. I selected a raised panel style for the front of the cabinets. The order was processed and placed by Home Depot and fulfilled by Kraftmaid. When the cabinets arrived I was alarmed to see that the two cabinets had the appropriate raised panel front, but the SEVEN drawers had plain slab fronts. I called Kraftmaid customer service who informed me that in this line, the cabinet and drawer fronts are different. NEVER in my interaction with the Home Depot ordering agent was I informed of this. The result looks terrible. Seeking a resolution at Home Depot was hopeless. Their suggestion was to go home, take off a cabinet door, and bring it in. They would then "try" to match it. At my expense, of course. They refused to exchange either the drawer fronts or the cabinet doors to achieve a matching set. They denied any responsibility, saying that "in laminate front cabinets the drawer fronts are often plain" Really? And how was I to know that? Very disappointing (and expensive!) experience. Buyer beware.
