Color Change of Cabinets

I used Home Depot to remodel my kitchen got new granite counter-tops and they are PERFECT. But the color change of my cabinets from White Wash to a dark cordovan has destroyed my existing cabinets. Doors have been put on wrong, they wobble, there is at least 6 different colors and NOT due to wood variation, some places look like grafitti, some places don't even have color, there are maybe 2-3 doors that came out ok of 40 I have been working with the specialty department for 4 months staying calm cool and collected. But nothing has been accomplished. The contractor had gotten stain all over the place like walls and ceiling, so Home Depot gave me their General Liability carrier and I was told that the insurance does not cover poor workmanship only damages. I said my cabinets are now damaged. Home Depot sent a representative by and he said it is the worst job he has ever seen.
Everyone agrees the cabinets are horrible including Home Depot, but there seems to be no resolution after 4 months of emailing and non action communication. Home Depot offered me my money back, but I refused as the repairs to get the cabinets back will be far greater than the $3000 paid for cabinet color change.
I have managed to go my whole life without needing an attorney (except 1 speeding ticket) but is this the path that will get a resolution? Please advise me on how get Home Depot to help me fix this. They have also stop using the N-Hance contractor and brought in a new team. They seemed to have fixed their problem, but I am still stuck with damaged ruined cabinets. I had hoped the insurance company would have paid but they claim poor workmanship is not covered, only damage to non cabinet items. What do i do?
