Nickel and Dimed PLUS rude employee - fedex shipping

I went to my local FedEx (corner of 35th and Madison). When I arrived at 2:45p on a Monday in NYC, there were no shipping envelopes ready. When I asked David (customer service person on duty) where the shipping envelopes were, he informed me he only puts out envelopes in the morning. I asked for two envelopes with padding and he refused! He said he was not going to waste a second envelope, they are too much money. If the new FedEx policy is to nickel and dime customers on the fedex envelopes I for one will go to UPS. What makes the whole experience truly unpleasant was the rude customer service person manning the station. He went out of his way to be impolite.
