AOL rips off yet another person!

Shops, Products, Services

On December 26 I called AOL about a problem with my account and during that conversation I found out that when my account was set up another account was created and that I have been charged $28.90 a month since December 21 for an account that I didn't know about and that I never used. I received a year free with my Gateway computer and I set up my account over the phone with AOL so if a mistake was made it was made by them.
I spoke to several people on the phone at AOL explaning what had happend and they said all they could do was return 2 months worth of my money which I told them was unexceptable and that I wanted all of my money back which was withdrawn from checking account without me knowing. They told me to fax their payment services department and see if they would give me more than the two months, but he also said that it was unlikely. So I faxed them and faxed them and faxed them, and I still have had no response and here we are today. I Just don't know what to do I can't afford a lawyer so I have just finished a letter to my local newsroom in Cleveland, Ohio who has a Call For Action segment to see if that will do any good.
