Nearly $200 in Bank Fees After Payment Taken From Bank

I was a frequent user of PayPal. One night, I was paying a large sum of money via credit. I specified that the payment should be made by my credit card, but PayPal did an instant transfer from my bank for no known reason.

I did not have that much money in my bank account, so the charge was returned, and my bank charged me for this. I called PayPal, and they did not care. In fact, they told me they would be trying to take the money from my bank account again. My bank kept charging me for their repeated rejected attempts.

After I called my bank and had them investigate, the agreement was that PayPal would charge the credit card. Eventually they tried, but they claimed it was denied. There were no records from American Express about any attempts to charge, and there is no way this card could have been denied. I have used it multiple times through PayPal, so we all know they had the correct number on file.

Now I have nearly $200 in fees from my bank, and they could not care less that their system is faulty. This company is a big joke. They are also very rude on the phone and unhelpful and uncaring.
