When we first moved into the area, I called DirectTV and I asked them several times if they had local channels in our area and they said yes. I paid for all the equipment and everything just to find out no local channels. I called and I was told a date by the 15th of October it was June when I had them installed. We waited all fall missing all our fav local channels. October 15 came and went. I called again and they assured me it was coming and they didn't know when.
Enough waiting, I called and cancelled in November and found local elsewhere. It is now April and they finally cancelled and charged me a cancellation fee with four months of service ($349.00). They even took it off my credit card without authorization. Please be careful. Do not use DirectTV.
