In May we had carpet installed in our bedroom. The installation was performed in a timely fashion, by a curteous technician. At completion, they asked my wife to sign a form stating that she was satisfied. Upon quick inspection, she signed off. Within 48 hours of install, carpet began to fray and a noticeable seamline began to appear in the most heavily trafficked area of the room. When I called to discuss, I was told that it is the technician discretion where to place the seamline but that I could file a complaint. I took pictures and filed. Claim was denied. National Floors Direct claim is that they are only responsible for the install and that we signed off on the day of install, therefore, not their problem.in the month following install, the carpet is fraying in multiple areas and the seamline has become quite noticeable. Bottom line, poor quality carpet sold by National Floors Direct, poor install performed by National Floors Direct, and poor customer service. We will never use them again and I would not recommend to anyone.
