I have a credit account with Home Depot, which when I logged onto their web site at the end of September showed a zero balance. I attempted to use the card on October 8 and the charge was dec lined due to a past due balance. Home Depot has apparently changed my account number and failed to bill me online or through the mail. This is not only irresponsible and incompetent; it violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act
