Chase will give you the runaround - Loan Modification

We have been proactive for the last 13 months asking ans submitting ALL required documents to Chase. We knew that we would deplete all of our resources by May. However, every 45-60 days, Chase would ask us for a variation of the same documents already submitted. Still NO answer from Chase. Various calls to Chase every month has not amount to much. Guess what? We found out there was a Chase modification office 5 miles away from home. NO ONE told us this. We found out by surfing the web for additional help.

Well, we end up at the office with all of our documents and the man behind the desk told us that because we were paying on time Chase would not look into our request! So, all the months of depleting our savings, taking additional loans to pay for our mortgage, taxes and insurance was in vain. We had to be late to even get their attention! This man told us that if we submit (AGAIN) in writing our request for modification, he would work on it. What?! What about all the documents already submitted for the last 13 months?! Isn't it already in the system?! What can Chase do to help us?! The guy did not even take down notes, make any copies of the important documents, nothing. "Just come back and resubmit the documents."

Just awful. On a side note, we contacted NACA a few weeks earlier and have nothing but GOOD things to say about them. They called on time for the phone interview. They received ALL the documents we sent to them just 4 weeks earlier and the phone interview was great. NACA already submitted our documents to the lender (Chase) and apparently a proposal for a resturcturing and remodification will be forwarded to us in a few more weeks.

Working with Chase has not been productive at all. Chase does not want to help or assist the average home owner.
