Defective Carpet Bad Installation

I spent $1900 to replace carpet in my living room and hall. The color I picked out was Kenya, a light tan. When the intallation was complete, I noticed three 3" dark wall to wall stripes in the hallway and one 3" stripe across the MIDDLE of the living room. When I said something to the installer he stated they would disappear in a day or two. I called two days later to complain they were still visable (at this time I was still within my cancel period) and to say if they couldn't correct the issue I wanted the carpet removed. They said the "seams" should be invisible and they would correct the issue. Well four days later (after my cancellation period expired) three installers showed up looked at carpet and said that it was normal and left. When I spoke to the customer service manager they said there was nothing they could do. Filed a complaint with BBB and had my credit card comp charge back the sale.
