Floor Model Snowblower Sold Already Filled With Oil and Gas

I purchased a floor model snowblower from Home Depot. I should have checked these things, I know, but I assumed, and was reassured, that all floor models were new, just out of the box. But this blower did have oil and gas in it. Someone, somewhere, had possession of this snowblower before I ever got it.

I returned to the store the next day to exchange it for a model still inside a box. I explained to the manager that we had purchased this blower from the floor, but it did have the oil and gas in it already. He reassured me, several times, that the store does not add any oil or gasoline to any implement.

While I was waiting for someone to show up to discuss this, I was standing right by the floor models of snowblowers. I tipped a Toro model, the same as the one we had just bought, and this blower had oil showing on the dipstick as well. This store manager in Omaha is either a pathetic liar or just does not have a handle on the goings-on in his store?!?
