Home Depot attitude

Have been to Home Depot several times, and while we are happy with the products, the staff seem decidedly unhelpful for the most part. There are usually a group standing up in the front of the store, chatting, while, if you need something elsewhere in the store, you have to hunt them down.instead of pointing, and grunting "It's over there, " it might be nice if a salesperson took time to walk you at least partway to where you want to find something. If I can find the same product elsewhere, I usually go to Ace or Lowes, because of this lack of enthusiasm. There are a couple of great people at Home Depot, but they are the exception.
