Lowes window purchase nightmare - Window purchase from Lowes

I choose Lowes for my new window install project which was a big mistake. Lowes was cheaper than other price quotes however I would rather have paid more money to have the job done in a reasonable amount of time. The installer came out to measure the exact fit to place the order. After waiting about 6 weeks I was told by Lowes that the windows are in but the measurements were not correct. They sent some one out to measure again and place the order. After another 6 weeks I was told by Lowes that your windows are in but one is damaged and the glass has been broken so we went ahead and placed another order. The employee didn't offer to give any discount for all the inconvenience. I gave them one last chance even though everyone I talked to about the situation said demand your money back! Finally after 18 weeks they got it right. My advice to any consumer is to choose a company that just installs windows. This is the only source of income for the company. You know they are going to make sure it is done right and the product is shipped with care. I will never again use Lowes for any install project. I also highly suggest that you check business reviews before making a decision.
