Homeowners dues - ripoff

This homeowners association is charging excessive fees to those owning property at GVL. This property, while now being better maintained by it's present staff, has not lived up to any promises it made in the past. Offering a clubhouse, pool, tennis court and lake facilities - clubhouse is run down, pool closed, tennis courts not maintained, golf course sold and now in bankrupcy, and lake previously sold and repurchased (so I hear) - sold to pay for the paving of the streets which was to be done by the price of the lots, and repurchased at an inflated fee. All outbuildings, which were years ago very nice and well-maintained, run down or falling down. They even charge a water access fee - and if I could get to my lot on the non-paved, potholed road, the hydrant's cap is off and no water runs to it.

What a fiasco.
