Neglect Road neglected to mow and maintain road to lot

I am the proud owner of Lot 549 on Bayou Drive located in Cypress Lakes North Subdivision/Campgroud. This road has been maintained by the Cypress Lakes Property Owners Association for over twenty years. This past year however the Association has neglected to mow the road going to my lot. This causes me much grief as I have spent endless hours and thousands of dollars making improvements to the lot. The lot is one of my most prized possesions and where I plan to build and retire.

I can barely drive a vehicle down the road as it is being reclaimed by the forest that surrounds it. It also has large holes which need to be filled with gravel. Cypress Lakes Property Owners Association has seen to it that all the other roads in the subdivision have been mowed and maintained but some reason they have neglected to do Bayou Drive. I have wrote the Association letters demanding them to mow and maintain the road but to no avail.

I would suggest to anyone planning to buy real estate at Cypress Lakes to get it in writing as to what one would receive for the yearly maintenance fees. May I add that this neglect is unwarranted as they have access to mowers to mow where ever else they please. There is also a pile of gravel at the maintenance barn that has already been purchased but has not been put it in its place.
