On Wednesday, June 22, I realized that my internet didn't work. After trying the usual tricks - turning it off/on, restarting my computer, etc. I realized that it might be a true outage. I called RCN and told them about the problem. The next appointment was on Sunday. I took it. On Thursday, I realized that my cable was not working either. I figured they would fix both on Sunday. On Friday evening, I received a call from RCN stating that a tech could come out the next day, Saturday, instead of Sunday. The tech arrives the next day and spends 2 hours working on the issue with no resolution. He finally left and said he would call his supervisor to follow up on this.

I very specifically asked him how we would proceed, so I knew what the expect and what action, if any, I needed to take. He said that someone would be calling me back that evening. Didn't happen. No one called me the next day, either. I called RCN on Sunday and then again on Monday, and basically was told that it was in the system, but they didn't have an expected date for resolution. I have called back several times over the last week and am basically told over and over that someone from the construction department would be calling me directly to schedule a repair. It has been 12 days I am still without service. This is truly unbelievable. I asked to cancel service during one of the calls and was told that I would still be charged the termination fee. Ha!
