Hard to find a phone number to call on the website

Verizon's website makes it really hard for you find a phone number to call. And the "specific wants" they need you to have are not things that apply. For example I want to view an old statement, but I can't put that in the search bar they give you. I had to search the contact us section extensively to get a number to call.
