Best Buy/Geek Squad Inver Grove Heights, MN - bad cell phone - Motorola razor M

Purchased a brand new Motorola Razor M phone on a Verizon plan from Best Buy located in Inver Grove Heights MN a few months back. At time of purchase I was badgered (like countless others) into purchasing a " Geek Squad " service protection plan at a cost of 170.00 which the salesperson CLEARLY indicated included free immediate replacement should there be a problem... I figured ok - as I use this for business. A few months after purchase the SD card reader failed and the phone has literally no storage capacity left. Simply taking a picture would lock up the phone and render it useless..

Took it back to the cell phone kiosk at the Best Buy store. After waiting for half an hour... A salesperson there now tells me its "not their problem now. Go see Geek Squad".. Ok, now stand in Geek Squad line for twenty minutes. I explain my problem... Now they want to send my phone out for repair for up to 6 weeks. But wait. I have a replacement policy. Oh wait. No I don't... I ask "Why can't you just replace it... This is why I purchased your plan "."We do not carry that phone anymore. Besides. We only replace it if we can't fix it". End of conversation... I left the store, went home and left a message with my attorneys office. I purchased two additional contracts for my wife and daughters phones, also on a new 1200.00 laptop, all purchased from Best Buy. I am seeking a complete refund of every one of these fraudulent service contracts... I will NEVER set foot in a Best Buy store again. I will drive 300 miles to Walmart before I will spend a dime there again. And by the way. A simple call to Verizon. And I had a brand new phone delivered to me no questions asked. NEVER purchase ANY "Geek Squad" plans... They are as useless as the actual Geek Squad employees thenselves...
