Verizon Wireless Customer Service is poor - Verizon Iphone

I have been a faithful Verizon customer until recently. I wanted to cancel my contract service and go to a verizon prepaid account. I was sorely SORELY disappointed that it took Verizon over 1 full month to take care of this and spent a total of over 7 hours on the phone with them over the course of 15 days. Each customer care representative contradicted what the previous person had said and I was getting the runaround. I confirmed three times with an agent after they finally got my service correct, what my final bill would be. I received notice today that after paying off my bill, I still owed an additional 200 dollars and no one could clearly explain why. THEY didn't even know why, just that because the account said it I had to pay it. Each person has been friendly, so I don't fault them on that. I would strongly enourage Verizon to make sure that they associates can all clearly communicate the same message and provide more training, than: here's a headset, figure it out." Verizon you have lost a life-long customer and I will encourage others to not invest in your contract services due to the lack of knowledge on your tech and reps hands. I will pay my additional 200 dollars so that I Iam not thrown into collections, but I feel 1) you should honor what your reps tell customers and 2) be able to provide an explanaition for an additional 2OO dollar fee or bill. Very disappointed in your company.
