I have been a Verizonn customer for two years and have never had interruption on my service. I have a cell phone, which the contract has expired, I also have a notebook computer and the contract expires in Oct. Of 2011. Today I tried to pay my bill and Verizon informs me that I owe them close to 500.00 because I have not paid my bill. I pay electronically. I called my bank and was informed that Verizon has taken money out of my account for the past 2 years. Customer service for verizon is vey rude and informed me that I would have to get bank statements and fax them to Verizon. I refused. I have received text messages today from Verizon that my service would be interrupted even though I paid the bill for the past two years, I even paid the bill for the month of September. I was informed by Verizon I would have to pay 299$ and some change to continue with service, once again I refused to pay that amount. I eventually paid appx 145.00 and informed verizon they would have to figure out what is going on with there shoddy system. I will not pay Verizon $500 nor will I get my bank statements, they need to figure it out. I found out from several people who also have verizon that the same thing is happening to them.
